From the moment we contacted Lisa, we knew that she would be the celebrant for us.

There was something about her that just fit with our style – Lisa is incredibly animated and enthusiastic about what she does, and the effort that she puts in is evident throughout. She just got us, our level of quirky and individualism. The last thing we wanted was for someone to go through the motions – and Lisa went above and this. Everything she included in our ceremony was completely tailored to our needs.

The content was made up of the history of us and our story and the warmth with which Lisa delivered this was felt by everyone present. We completely trusted her, to the point that we just left her to it! We wanted it to be a surprise, so that we would hear her delivery on the day with the same emotion as our guests, and she excelled!! My wife and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lisa, everyone needs someone to emotionally invest in them like this and not many are lucky enough to find someone that does to this level. We don’t know where to even begin reviewing what Lisa created for our wedding! We never could have imagined just how personal, beautiful and emotional a wedding ceremony could be until we met Lisa. From our very first conversation we knew we’d made the right decision. Lisa is a wonderful person, warm and friendly and the detail and thought she put into our ceremony is just incredible.

Every single guest commented on our ceremony and how they’d never been to a wedding like it. Every part was thoughtfully written, it was moving, funny and so touching. The hand tying with our children was a great addition that we’d never have thought of until Lisa suggested it and we’re so glad she did. If you want a ceremony with a difference, that’s not generic, that’s written about the two of you, then Lisa is your woman.

From the moment we contacted Lisa we knew she was going to be the perfect celebrant for our vow renewal, after 40 years of marriage there was quite a story to tell and Lisa captured this beautifully, with a subtle combination of humour and sentimentality, including funny stories and happy memories of our life as a family that Lisa gathered from speaking to our daughters.

Lisa, our celebrant, was absolutely amazing. From the zoom meetings to meeting in person on our wedding day, Lisa was so friendly and fun. She made every encounter entertaining and we loved her methods of finding out information about our love story. The ceremony itself was so perfect and personalised - we couldn’t have been happier with the ceremony. All our guests agreed and also commented on how lovely Lisa was. You can tell she is so passionate about her job and we just loved that. We would highly recommend Lisa.

We celebrated our wedding with Lisa in June 2023. It was a magical day and especially because of the thought and care given to the ceremony. Lisa helped make it so authentic, personal and meaningful. So much more than you could ever achieve in a church. It was just the loveliest way to say the most important things to the most important person in your life with all your friends and family there to be part of it.

We could not be more pleased that we decided to go with Celebrant in Cornwall for our wedding.
