Our Reviews

Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with. The ceremony she delivered was thoughtful, warm and genuinely reflective of us as a couple. We felt she put a lot of time and thought into getting to know us, and that came through beautifully on the day. We couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you again Mary x

We were over the moon to find someone willing to act as our witnesses as we wanted a 'secret' wedding. Lisa & Rick were just wonderful; couldn't have wished for a better couple to witness our big day. Reliable, super friendly and fun, it felt like we knew them for years. Even agreed to take a few snaps for us. If you are looking for witnesses for your wedding, look no further. Lisa & Rick are the best. Thank you both for making our 'little event' so much fun.

Lisa made our renewal of vows ceremony very special. She was very responsive to our requests and helped us to plan a ceremony that was very personal to us. She communicated with us effectively at all stages of the process, taking time to get to know us and guiding us through preparation for the event. We really appreciated her sensitive and positive handling of our story. Lisa is very professional in her approach whilst at the same time being warm, genuine and empathic. She has a good sense of humour :-), she is a great communicator, and she put everyone involved at ease. The small, intimate ceremony on the day was perfect. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa as a celebrant.

Where do we begin? Lisa was absolutely incredible, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She made our wedding so much fun while also keeping it deeply sentimental and meaningful. She took the time to really listen to our story and somehow brought all of our memories back to life with her beautiful way with words. Our ceremony felt so personal, genuine, and just us. Every single one of our guests commented on how special it was, even one who, in his words, ‘never attends ceremonies as they’re the boring part’. We are beyond grateful for everything Lisa did to make our day unforgettable.

We cannot thank Lisa enough for everything she did to create the most beautiful wedding ceremony for us. As soon as we came across Celebrant in Cornwall and had our first Zoom call with Lisa, we knew we wanted her to be our celebrant - she was warm, friendly and put us at ease immediately. She took the time to get to know us, and we had great fun along the way filling in the questionnaire Lisa provided. Nothing was too much trouble, Lisa was always so quick to reply to any questions and helped to incorporate a last minute surprise reading from a family member.
The phone call to both of us the day before our wedding in check-in was a lovely touch. On the day, we knew we would have nothing to worry about in Lisa’s safe hands. The ceremony was everything we had hoped it would be and more, filled with laughs, tears and so much love and happiness. We had so many friends and family say it was the best and most personal ceremony they had been to. Lisa’s passion for her job is clear and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending her.

We had chosen our day to be spent as just the three of us and to focus on what is important to us: to eliminate expectations of a traditional wedding (as we didn’t feel this best reflected us), our relationship and our values as a family. We wanted the day to be about our love and devotion to each other and our promise to be the best parents we can be to our daughter. We couldn’t have done this without Mary, our celebrant. She took her time to get to know us and gave us her thoughts on readings and ceremony options, styles, and even traditions we didn’t know about, really taking into consideration how we wanted our ceremony to be and growing it into a much more personal moment that exceeded our expectations. For that we are really grateful. It will be a memory we cherish forever.

Where do we even begin with Lisa?! She came highly recommended by our venue (Boconnion), and now we completely understand why. From her very first email and detailed questionnaires, she was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive. But it was after our intro call that we knew, without a doubt, we’d made the right choice.
We weren’t too familiar with how a celebrant-led ceremony worked - most weddings we’d been to followed a more traditional format - but choosing Lisa was one of the best decisions we made. She took the time to really get to know us, both as individuals and as a couple, and did so in the most effortless, natural way (like chatting to an old friend over coffee).
Using all of this, she created the most brilliant, funny, and heartfelt ceremony that felt so us. She completely got our vibe and struck the perfect balance between emotional and entertaining. Guests are still talking about how unique and memorable it was - and about Lisa herself!
If you're looking for someone who feels like part of the family, brings all the warmth, charm, and charisma (with a dose of humour and genuine heart), Lisa is your person. From the final pre-wedding pep talk to all the behind-the-scenes prep, she truly thinks of everything.

After first speaking to Lisa face-to-face on a video call, we knew she was exactly the type of person we wanted to tell our story. And what a story she told! We were so, so happy with the draft she came up with (the questionnaire she sent made it all feel so easy) but, on the day, hearing her delivery was even better than we could have imagined.
Lisa totally captivated the room, balanced poignant and funny effortlessly, and we had so many comments afterwards about how unique and enjoyable the ceremony was. She has such an air of authority and calm which gives you complete confidence in her (especially when you're feeling the nerves and big emotions on the day!). And you can tell just by her demeanour that she's done this so many times and that you're in safe hands.
Pair that with the fact she's kind, light-hearted, and can read the crowd and adjust accordingly - and you know you're onto a winner! If you're on the fence whatsoever, I'm telling you, just go for it. Thanks again, Lisa. Wish we could do it all over!

Lisa was amazing right from the beginning. She has such a gentle and kind nature that put us at ease from the first communication with her. Our face to face meetings with her felt so comfortable and relaxed, like chatting with a friend. Lisa really got to know us, and created a ceremony that told our story perfectly. The ceremony was so personal and heartfelt, but with fun and light heartedness mixed in. All our guests loved it and so did we. We could not recommend Lisa more, she is exactly what every couple needs on their wedding day, a friendly face with a warm smile and a voice that calms any anxieties. Such a shame we will only do it once! Thank you so much Lisa.

Lisa was fantastic! From the first online meeting we had together we felt like Lisa was a perfect fit for us. We felt comfortable discussing ideas for the ceremony with her, and she provided a lot of help so that we felt prepared for it. The ceremony itself was excellent. Lisa spoke clearly, made the guests laugh and feel relaxed, and spoke in a sentimental way at the right times. We couldn't have asked for a better celebrant!
