We'll arrive in plenty of time, help you feel relaxed, witness your marriage or civil partnership and sign the paperwork - but we're very happy to do a little more than simply provide two signatures.
On the day, we can hold bouquets, look after rings, take photos, throw confetti and even cuddle the dog (if invited!). Our aim is to make this little part of your wedding day feel special too.
You're in experienced hands, too. Having conducted more than 100 legal marriage and civil partnership ceremonies as a registrar, I know exactly how these appointments work and how important it is for everything to feel calm and straightforward. Yes. Your witnesses don't need to be friends or family, so if you're getting married in Cornwall without guests or simply don't have suitable witnesses locally, you can arrange for witnesses to attend your legal ceremony.

You will normally need two witnesses for your legal marriage or civil partnership ceremony. We can provide either one or two witnesses, depending on what you need.
