Capturing the magic of a celebrant wedding ceremony at The Cove in Cornwall

We were absolutely thrilled to participate in a styled photo shoot this summer to promote a stunning new spot to tie the knot in Cornwall - The Cove at Maenporth. This gorgeous restaurant is simply the perfect location for couples dreaming of a seaside celebration - read on to find out more!

The Cove only opened in February 2025 but is fast becoming a firm favourite with foodies. Having established a reputation for showcasing some of Cornwall's best produce, alongside hosting some amazing live music events and plenty of private parties, the team behind The Cove now hope to enjoy the same level of success with holding wedding ceremonies and receptions.

With multiple options for ceremony locations, including inside the spacious dining room, which is in fact a light-flooded conservatory with a fully retractable roof, or perhaps out on the decked terrace, with sweeping views across Falmouth Bay, wedding couples are certainly spoilt for choice. And if the lure of the beach is too great, then why not book an independent celebrant and say your vows out on the sands before heading back to The Cove for your reception? Just steps from Maenporth Beach, you could say 'I do' on one of Cornwall’s most captivating coastlines, with just the rolling waves as your backdrop.

From the stunning floral arrangements created by Perdie’s Flowers to the exquisite wedding dress provided by Bliss Bridal Gowns, every detail was carefully curated. And thanks to the skilled coordination and styling by VJW Coordination and Consultancy, the day was a huge success in capturing the essence and beauty of a seaside wedding.
